Following on from last year's competition, as part of our highly successful fundraiser and annual Family Fun Festival at Druridge Bay, the Northumberland Catholic Extended Services Partnership (NCESP) have decided to bring the search for the county's finest performers back.

Last year's final was judged by Metro Radio as our finalists performed in front of over 3000 people. It proved such a hit on that sunny Saturday afternoon that we've had many requests to repeat it this year and so we've decided to do so - this time on 3rd July 2010.

We have now held auditions and this year's show looks to be a real hit!  We will be announcing the winners this week and it definitely promises to be one not to be missed!

Judges will choose semi-finalists to perform at the final on 3rd July 2010 at Druridge Bay Country Park at the Fusion Family Festival 2010.

The overall winner will be chosen on the day by a special panel of judges and will get to perform professionally as part of our annual celebration performance, in front of a sell-out Newcastle City Hall on the 8th July.

If you would like to come and see the finals on 3rd July, be sure to get up to Druridge Country Park between 10.30am and 4pm.  There will be lots of things going on during the day including outdoor pursuits, a global village, African drumming, kite making and flying, cycling, sailing, pony rides and a sizzling summer BBQ.  It's all for a brilliant cause as all money raised will be donated to charity.
