CVA Blyth Valley - Training

With a funding grant from Awards for All CVA Blyth Valley are able to run a series of training courses, commencing with:

Appointed Person First Aid (full day course)

Venue: Isabella Community Centre, Ogle Drive, Blyth

Day / Time:Thursday 8 October 2009, 9:30 am – 3:30 pm

Facilitator: Trainer from Priory Training    Cost: £10 per person


Management Committee Roles & Responsibilities (½day course)

Venue: Buffalo Community Centre, Regent Street, Blyth

Day / Time:Wednesday 14 October 2009, 9:30 am – 12:30 noon

Facilitator: Trainer from CVA Blyth Valley    Cost: £5 per person

Safeguarding and Child Protection (full day course)


Venue: East Hartford Community Centre, Scott Street, Cramlington

Day / Time: Thursday 22 October 2009, 9:30 am—3:30 pm

Facilitator: Barbara Morris—Childcare & Training    Cost: £10 per person
 

 

Basic Bookkeeping (full day course)

Venue: Northburn Training & Community Centre, Crawhall Lane, Cramlington

Day / Time: Wednesday 4 November 2009, 9:30 am – 3:30 pm (approx)

Facilitator: Angie Martin - The Learning Team    Cost: £10 per person
 

Health and Safety Awareness Course (½day course)

Venue: Seaton Sluice Community Centre, Albert Road, Seaton Sluice

Day / Time: Tuesday 24 November 2009, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Facilitator: Trainer from Priory Training    Cost: £5 per person

Cost of courses are £10 (£5 for half day) per person for community and voluntary groups in Blyth, Cramlington and Seaton Valley. For groups outside this area and statutory organisations the price is £30. Places are limited to 3 places per group / organisation initially with a reserve list being held if further places are required.
